Fermata Town was excited to sneak into the few open seats in the balcony to catch the first half of the show. As a new member of FT, and several years out of college a cappella, I loved getting to hear the sets of the other groups. Congrats to Berklee College of Music’s Pitch Slapped, Boston University’s The Dear Abbeys, Brown University’s The Jabberwocks, and Tufts University’s The Jackson Jills for their dynamic performances. And of course, much praise to the Nor’easters for performing their winning set and more throughout the night.
When Fermata Town hit the stage, it was my third performance with the group and I could not have been more excited. Blackman Auditorium was packed with an enthusiastic and interactive audience who totally fed into our energy. We continue to enjoy the audience responses to our female rapper and snazzy rendition of Britney Spears’ “Circus”. We are so grateful to Caleb Whelden, Alex Green & Co. for the professional audio support that really maximized our sound.
It was a tremendous pleasure to share the stage with such talent and to entertain such an awesome crowd. Check out the videos on our Facebook Page and let us know what you think!
